How do I check in?
Simply open the app and tap the "I'm OK" button on the home screen. That's it!
What happens if I miss a check-in?
If you miss your threshold number of days (which you set in Settings), Mamoru will automatically send an alert to your emergency contacts via email and/or push notification.
How do I add emergency contacts?
Go to the Contacts tab and tap the + button. You can add contacts by email address, or pair with other Mamoru users using an invite code.
How do I pair with another Mamoru user?
One user generates an invite code (tap "Create Invite" in Contacts), and the other user enters that code (tap "Accept Invite"). This creates a two-way connection.
How do I change my alert threshold?
Go to Settings and adjust the "Alert Threshold" slider. You can set it from 1 to 7 days.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings and tap "Delete Account." This will permanently remove all your data from our servers.
Is my data secure?
Yes. We use Firebase with industry-standard encryption. We don't track your location, access your contacts, or collect any analytics. See our Privacy Policy for details.
